Good evening, folks. February is off and running on a really nice weather note and this continues for the next week or so. The forecast continues to look toward big changes rolling in later in the second week of the month.<\/p>\n

Overall, it’s a waiting game for winter weather lovers. You guys have to be patient in order to get to a really nice looking winter pattern for the middle and end of the month. One that likel carries over into early March.<\/p>\n

The consistency of the Ensembles and Weeklies are pretty astounding.<\/p>\n

Watch this deep trough develop as we head past February 10th and get fully established by Valentine’s Day…<\/p>\n

The core of the cold moves right on top of us during this time. All ensembles have the bullsye across the eastern half of the country…<\/p>\n

It’s REALLY hard to get forecast models to agree on anything, let alone something a week or two down the road. Confidence is high for a winter pattern taking over during this time period.<\/p>\n
