We&#8217;ve made it to the end of the week and our weekend is looking about as nice as you will ever find around here. We have an honest to goodness blast of September temps blowing in for the next several days. Woot!<\/p>\n<p>Let&#8217;s start out there today and roll forward. Highs are in the 80s with a mix of sun and clouds with winds picking up as a cold front sweeps in from the northwest. It does so with additional troughs swinging into our region and the eastern half of the country to keep our temps below normal next week into the following weekend.<\/p>\n<p>The models are in good agreement on this and also show another tropical system off the east coast.<\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s the upper level anomalies from the EURO&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/EURO-1.gif\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-65868\" src=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/EURO-1.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"984\" height=\"808\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>And the GFS&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/GFS-7.gif\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-65871\" src=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/GFS-7.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"984\" height=\"808\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Those are really trying to go toward a big time cutoff system in our region.
