Good evening, everyone. Rain continues to increase across the region with Old Man Winter waiting in the wings. We have flakes and light accumulating snows on the way to the region for the rest of this long holiday weekend.<\/p>\n

I’m watching areas of northern Kentucky for a touch of wet snow that may show up late tonight on the back edge of the departing rain shield. That could put down hit and run slush on a deck or two.<\/p>\n

From there, cold misty showers will be noted on Thanksgiving with snow showers and some flurries kicking in Thanksgiving night into the start of Black Friday.<\/p>\n

The HRRR future radar sees the Friday snow showers lingering a little deeper into Friday. This animation goes from this evening through 1pm Friday…<\/p>\n

Cold winds continue to crank through Friday into Saturday as we await the arrival of a light snow maker from Saturday evening through early Sunday. Light is the key word and here’s the area I’m focusing on with the best chance of seeing some snow on the ground…<\/p>\n
