Good evening and Happy Thanksgiving. Colder winds are taking control with some snow showers ready to develop and carry us into your Black Friday. Behind that comes a light snowfall for late Saturday into Sunday.<\/p>\n

Before we get to the First Call for Snowfall, let’s focus on the snow showers and flurries tonight and Black Friday. This action develops on a west to northwest wind flow and will be noted across central and eastern Kentucky.<\/p>\n

There’s even the chance for a coating or two to show up. You can see these flakes and streaks of snow showers on the Future Radar from the HRRR…<\/p>\n

Wind chills are way down there for Black Friday. Check out the digits from 7am through 11pm…<\/p>\n

The system rolling in for the weekend will lay down a west to east corridor of light snow accumulations. I’m still trying to figure out exactly where this sets up, but I think the northern half of the state has a better chance of accumulations than the south as of now.<\/p>\n

There’s still some decent spread amongst the models on exactly where this system track. The GFS and EURO are similar but a bit off…<\/p>\n

The ICON has higher totals and is a bit south…<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

The Short Range Canadian is farther north with healthier totals…<\/p>\n

As you can see, we still have some differences showing up but those should resolve themselves overnight and early Friday.<\/p>\n
