Good evening, folks. Winds are the player of the moment but the wind chills take center stage late tonight into Thursday. Throw in a quick hitting round of snow showers and squalls, and you have a very wintry setup during this time.<\/p>\n

The front doesn’t surge into the state until after midnight and will touch off a band of rain showers ahead of it and snow showers behind it. With crashing temps behind the front, we will need to watch for slick spots developing.<\/p>\n

In terms of snowfall, don’t expect much. Some hit and run coatings are possible…<\/p>\n

The extreme cold goes away this weekend as a big rain maker rolls in here from late Sunday into Monday with another system developing behind it. Depending on the the track it takes, rain and\/or snow would be possible with that by the middle of next week…<\/p>\n
