Much better winds are blowing across the commonwealth of Kentucky today. Cooler air and lower humidity levels are making for a great mid June day. Unfortunately, the very warm and humid will push back in over the next few days and that means a serious case of tropical weather is on the way.<\/p>\n<p>Highs today will warm to around 80 degrees with partly sunny skies. That&#8217;s the good news.<\/p>\n<p>The bad news is a little more humidity works in for Thursday as temps head back into the low and mid 80s. From there&#8230; it&#8217;s mid to upper 80s from Friday through the weekend and into next week. The occasional 90 degree temp will be possible&#8230; especially in the west.<\/p>\n<p>Scattered thunderstorms will become a daily concern during this same time&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/GFS4.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-6909\" alt=\"GFS\" src=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/GFS4.png\" width=\"640\" height=\"332\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>This is a pattern that will remain rather tropical into the last of the month and into early July.<\/p>\n<p>I promised you guys a look at what some of the seasonal models are pointing to as we roll into fall and winter. Here&#8217;s what the NASA model says for the fall&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/CFS.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-6911\" alt=\"CFS\" src=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/CFS.png\" width=\"318\" height=\"759\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>That&#8217;s a chilly look for the fall for the eastern half of the country with warmth out west.
