Good Tuesday, everyone. It’s a windy and fairly mild day across the Commonwealth with dry skies rolling on. These dry skies will take us into the early part of Thursday before a big storm system moves in with gusty winds and heavy rain to close out January.<\/p>\n

Temps out there today are generally in the 40s with a 50 across the south and west. Winds will increase later this afternoon and evening as a system passes by to our northeast. Winds may reach 30mph-40mph tonight into Wednesday morning.<\/p>\n

Temps for Wednesday look even better with many areas topping out at 50 or better.<\/p>\n

The next system is the first of what is likely to be many potent low pressures moving our way through February. Here’s what that system brings to Kentucky…<\/p>\n

As mentioned, this will bring some hefty rain totals across our region…<\/p>\n

The pattern continues to trend toward a super-active one as we head into February, and we are likely to see some wild temp swings to start the month.<\/p>\n

The models will continue to try and get a handle on this volatile setup. A setup that can bring heavy rain and strong storms with snow threats to follow.<\/p>\n

Here’s the latest EURO looks like this from February 6th through the 12th…<\/p>\n
