Good Sunday to one and all. It’s another typical August day in the Bluegrass state as we gear up for some storms to start to flex once again. Scattered storms are ready to rumble for the week ahead as the tropics get ready to do a little flexing, too.<\/p>\n

85-90 will be common today across most areas with a few spots doing it a tad better. Humidity levels continue to remain decent for this time of year, so we have that going for us. Isolated showers and storms will go right back up this afternoon and evening.<\/p>\n

Temps Monday will be similar to what’s out there today with isolated showers and storms. The overall potential for showers and storms will then increase starting Tuesday and continuing through the week into next weekend.<\/p>\n

A little tropical moisture from the Gulf will be getting into the mix during this time…<\/p>\n

We may very well be dealing with an Atlantic hurricane by this time next weekend. That’s a system coming off the coast of Africa and one the National Hurricane Center is highlighting…<\/p>\n

The spread from the individual members of the EURO Ensembles continues to increase as this system gets north of the Lesser Antilles…<\/p>\n

The Hurricane Models don’t go out as far as the EURO Ensembles, but they seem to be in general agreement with a track north of the Lesser Antilles Islands…<\/p>\n
