We are tracking a cold front across Kentucky today and this front will bring another shot of late September air. That air will replace the&#8230; early September air we have today. \ud83d\ude42 The bad side of all this will be the possibility of showers and thunderstorms.<\/p>\n<p>These storms will work from northwest to southeast today and will become a bit more widespread during the afternoon and early evening. Here&#8217;s your regional radar&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.accuweather.com\/radar-large.asp?partner=netweather&amp;traveler=0&amp;site=KY_&amp;type=SIR&amp;anim=1&amp;level=state&amp;large=1#\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/sirocco.accuweather.com\/nx_mosaic_640x480_public\/sir\/inmaSIRKY_.gif\" usemap=\"#largemap\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Locally heavy rainfall and a lot of lightning will be noted in the stronger storms. Temps ahead of the front will top out in the lower 80s as winds gust up.<\/p>\n<p>The front passes through here this evening into tonight as cooler and drier air wins the battle by Sunday. The day may still start with a shower or two across the south, but the sun will take center stage during the afternoon. Temps will top out in the mid and upper 70s.<\/p>\n<p>Lows by Monday morning will drop toward the low and middle 50s.
