It&#8217;s a week of weather we&#8217;ve been needing for a while, but it&#8217;s also a week that may cause some issues. Rounds of showers and storms will rumble across the region, putting down quite a bit of rain. I think you&#8217;ll like where we end up before all is said and done. BTW&#8230; I know many of you have given up on commenting because it&#8217;s a mess to get logged in. I&#8217;m looking to get that fixed in the next little bit.<\/p>\n<p>Ok, now back to the weather.<\/p>\n<p>Rounds of showers and storms will stream across the area today, but this is not going to be all day stuff. The potential is there for a few strong to severe storms going up this afternoon and evening and the Storm Prediction Center continues with the low-end severe storms risk today&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.spc.noaa.gov\/partners\/outlooks\/state\/images\/KY_swody1.png?1755347105\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Once again, this isn&#8217;t widespread severe weather, but areas of wind damage may show up. That&#8217;s the only severe weather threat being highlighted by the Storm Prediction Center today&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\" lazyloaded\" src=\"https:\/\/www.spc.noaa.gov\/partners\/outlooks\/state\/images\/KY_swody1_WIND.png?1757016471\" data-src=\"https:\/\/www.spc.noaa.gov\/partners\/outlooks\/state\/images\/KY_swody1_WIND.png?1757016471\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\" lazyloaded\" src=\"https:\/\/www.spc.noaa.gov\/partners\/outlooks\/state\/images\/KY_swody1_TORN.png?1757016307\" data-src=\"https:\/\/www.spc.noaa.gov\/partners\/outlooks\/state\/images\/KY_swody1_TORN.png?1757016307\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\" lazyloaded\" src=\"https:\/\/www.spc.noaa.gov\/partners\/outlooks\/state\/images\/KY_swody1_HAIL.png?1757016510\" data-src=\"https:\/\/www.spc.noaa.gov\/partners\/outlooks\/state\/images\/KY_swody1_HAIL.png?1757016510\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The threat for a few more severe storms will be noted on Tuesday, especially across south central Kentucky&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.spc.noaa.gov\/partners\/outlooks\/state\/images\/KY_swody2.png?1758476540\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Additional waves of showers and storms then move through here Wednesday and Thursday and some of those may be locally strong or severe. This isn&#8217;t a setup where everyone gets a ton of rain at the same time, but it&#8217;s a setup that should pretty much soak the entire region before the week is over.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve been showing you what the models have been saying, and they&#8217;ve been showing quite a bit of rain.
