How&#8217;s this big &#8220;heat wave&#8221; treating you guys? I say that with my tongue firmly planted in cheek because the heat has been a no show, so far. This makes the blog feel good because it&#8217;s playing out as we have advertised.<\/p>\n<p>Temps will continue to hit the mid and upper 80s across central and eastern Kentucky today with 90ish in the west. Can someone in central Ky actually hit 90? Yep&#8230; but, clouds will play a factor in that.<\/p>\n<p>A weak cold front will slide in here this evening and provide us with a better shot at a shower or thunderstorm working in from north to south. Here&#8217;s regional radar&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.accuweather.com\/radar-large.asp?partner=netweather&amp;traveler=0&amp;site=KY_&amp;type=SIR&amp;anim=1&amp;level=state&amp;large=1#\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/sirocco.accuweather.com\/nx_mosaic_640x480_public\/sir\/inmaSIRKY_.gif\" usemap=\"#largemap\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The forecast for the rest of the week is very similar to what we have&#8230; highs in the mid and upper 80s with the occasional 90 and isolated storms.<\/p>\n<p>The threat for storms will increase over the upcoming weekend as a cold front moves our way.
