Our first storm system is set to blow across the region with rain and a little bit of snow for the weekend. The main focus continues to be on the bigger storm system coming behind it later Monday and Tuesday. That one looks rather messy.<\/p>\n<p>I have no changes to my overall thought process for the system moving in later Saturday into Saturday night. Rain and some snow develops from west to east Saturday into Saturday evening with most areas going over to rain after the initial burst of some snow that can put down minor accumulations in the north.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m not sure this is worthy of a First Call map, so I&#8217;m keeping this rolling&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/CB-SPECIAL-5.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-74088\" src=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/CB-SPECIAL-5.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"940\" height=\"788\" srcset=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/CB-SPECIAL-5.png 940w, https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/CB-SPECIAL-5-300x251.png 300w, https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/CB-SPECIAL-5-768x644.png 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 940px) 100vw, 940px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The system coming in later Monday into Tuesday is still a major work in progress with each model run showing something different from the run before or what the other models show. Of course, that&#8217;s to be expected.<\/p>\n<p>This tweet from the NWS Louisville has me perplexed with the mixed messaging of uncertainty with a side order of details&#8230;<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">More wintry weather is possible Monday night and Tuesday. Don&#8217;t focus on the amounts cause those aren&#8217;t even close to be accurate.
