The threat for showers and thunderstorms will increase as we roll through the next next few days. That will be followed by a blast of much cooler air that takes hold of our pattern for much of next week.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m not going to bore you with a lot of weather jargon today. Many of us will be watching football or taking part in outdoor activities. Those with plans on the outside today and into the weekend should have a plan B to be safe. That is about to change as a strong cold front moves through here by Monday night.
