Good afternoon, everyone. I’m about to head out to help light the downtown Lexington Christmas Tree so I wanted to drop by for a very quick update before heading out the door. The forecast models continue to come into line this afternoon and that’s a trend that lends confidence to our forecast.<\/p>\n

My New Call For Snowfall hasn’t changed dramatically, but I did up the snowfall potential in a few spots. Areas across the south and southeast are the trough spots because of the rain aspect to start…<\/p>\n

The areas that start as rain are my wildcards as how much snow you can get from this greatly depends on how fast the switchover occurs.<\/p>\n

If you’re a snow lover, then you’re probably rooting for the HRRR to verify as it came in with the greatest snow shield of all the models.<\/p>\n
