Good Tuesday, folks. Our weather has been way too steamy for most folks, so mother nature is going to cut us a break later this week. That’s when a surge of fall air moves into the bluegrass state and delivers the coolest air we’ve had since spring. Could we threaten record lows? Hmmm<\/p>\n

Highs today into Wednesday will continue to run in the mid and upper 80s for central and eastern Kentucky with a low 90 across the west. Humidity levels will make it feel even warmer. Isolated storms today will have a little better coverage on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

Our cold front will sweep in here Thursday with a line of showers and thunderstorms. Check out the blast of beautiful air coming in behind it for Friday and Saturday…<\/p>\n

Highs from 70-75 will be common both days as partly sunny skies return. The lows this weekend will be on the chilly side…<\/p>\n

\"GFS\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Yes… the GFS shows readings dropping into the upper 30s across parts of eastern Kentucky this weekend. If the above numbers are right… record lows would be in jeopardy. Wow!<\/p>\n

Some of the models are hinting at another shot of cool for early next week…<\/p>\n
