We continue to track rain and very cool temps across Kentucky and surrounding areas. This is part of a pattern that continues to trend cooler and wetter than normal here in the first half of May.

Rain out there today is more prominent across the south and southeast with isolated showers in the north and west. A wave of low pressure rolls along this boundary later today into early Thursday morning with the chance for more rain in some of these same areas.

Temps today may not get out of the 50s for many. If you catch some clearing by the afternoon, temps can reach the low 60s in a few spots. Similar temps will be noted on Thursday.

Friday looks really good with highs reaching the upper 60s and low 70s with partly sunny skies.

Winds gust up with some late day clouds ahead of a fast-moving system that brings some showers and storms Friday night into the start of Saturday…

That moves away very quickly with a great rest of your Saturday taking shape.
