We’ve made it to the end of the week and we’re starting out our Friday with a kiss of frost in some areas. This will be followed by warmer temps with a few storm chances showing up for Mother’s Day Weekend.

This update is a rather lengthy one as I talk about the emerging El Nino and the impact it may have on our weather.

Let’s begin with today and the temps that are into the mid and upper 30s to start and the 70s to end. Skies are partly to mostly sunny.

A quick hitting system brings scattered showers and storms in here tonight and early Saturday but this blows out of town very quickly. Highs top out in the 70s for a really nice looking day.

Another system moves in later on Mother’s Day into Sunday night, bringing a few showers and storms along for the ride…

Temps come way back down to chilly levels on Monday with the chance for some more frost Monday night and early Tuesday as temps hit the 30s…

Another system drops in late Tuesday and Wednesday with a few more showers.
