Good Tuesday to one and all. It’s a really nice weather day that’s ahead of another cold front dropping in for Wednesday. This brings a brief shot of chill before summer temps surge in for the upcoming weekend.<\/p>\n

Let’s begin with today and roll forward. Temps this morning hit the upper 30s in some areas, leading to some patchy frost. By the afternoon, temps reach 75-80 in most areas.<\/p>\n

Winds gust up ahead of a Wednesday cold front. This brings a few showers and storms in early Wednesday morning then another round of broken storms right along the front during the afternoon.<\/p>\n

Temps come way down behind this boundary and may set the stage for a little frost for areas dealing with clear skies Thursday morning. The GFS is thinking some clouds hang around in the north and northeast with 30s under that…<\/p>\n

Highs on Thursday depend on the number of clouds you see outside your window. Eastern Kentucky has the best chance of some clouds with temps that may not reach the low 60s. Farther west you get more sun and temps much higher in the 60s.<\/p>\n

Friday’s temps turn up as warmer winds blow in from the southwest. There’s the chance for a storm or two along the leading edge of this warm air later Friday into Saturday…<\/p>\n
