We have another winner of a weather day with awesome air hanging around for a few more days. This is ahead of another stormy setup that will bring rounds of strong storms and heavy rain to the region, likely causing more issues.<\/p>\n<p>Temps today start in the 50s and end in the upper 70s to low 80s. Skies will be partly sunny.<\/p>\n<p>Thursday is mainly dry with temps in the 80s as more clouds filter in ahead of a boundary working toward the region. This boundary looks to get into the region and slow down on Friday, lingering through the upcoming weekend. Here&#8217;s what they&#8217;re showing for the Excessive Rainfall Outlook for Friday and Saturday&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.wpc.ncep.noaa.gov\/exper\/eromap\/statemaps\/KY_Day3.png\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.wpc.ncep.noaa.gov\/exper\/eromap\/statemaps\/KY_Day4.png\" \/><\/p>\n<p>We will still watch for some storms dropping in from the northwest to end June and into that 4th of July holiday weekend. This action is on the leading edge of some big summer heat that just takes a stab at us.<\/p>\n<p>The overall setup for early July is one of a retrograding pattern across North America at 500mb.
