Good Wednesday to one and all. Widespread severe weather blasted the Bluegrass State on Tuesday with tornadoes, damaging winds and flooding. Now comes the calm and a full blown taste of September weather!<\/p>\n

Humidity levels tank out there today with temps ranging from the mid 70s to low 80s, depending on where you are across Kentucky. This sets the stage for a very cool night ahead with some areas reaching the low and middle 50s…<\/p>\n

This kicks off a pattern full of cooler than normal air that will take us through the beginning of the upcoming weekend. Check out the below normal temps from the GFS from today through Saturday…<\/p>\n

That below normal air for Friday and Saturday is in response to another system moving in with the chance for a few showers or storms.<\/p>\n

Temps do try to surge toward normal late July readings by Sunday a, but that’s ahead of another dip in the jet stream by the middle of the week. That may be followed by another huge dip in the jet stream to start August.<\/p>\n
