Good Saturday and Happy Halloween! It’s a big day for all the kiddos out there as they get set to make their trick or treat rounds, and it looks like the weather will cooperate. This whole pattern changes with the flip of the calendar as Sunday kicks off a very active month of November.<\/p>\n

Don’t forget to set those clocks back one hour before going to bed tonight!<\/p>\n

Temps today range from the upper 60s to middle 70s with lots of clouds and the chance for some late day showers in the southwest. Showers overspread the state later tonight into Sunday with the greatest concentration across the west and central. That action slowly spreads east during the late afternoon and evening.<\/p>\n

This future radar runs from 7am Sunday and ends at 7am Monday, giving us a good look at the rains…<\/p>\n

Temps drop into the 50s as the showers move through on Sunday.<\/p>\n

Skies should clean up as the day wears on Monday with seasonable temps. This will be followed by a windy and mild Election Day.<\/p>\n

The forecast models continue to be absolutely all over the place with the next system moving in late Tuesday night into Wednesday. I’m talking some WILD swings and that’s saying something given how bad the models have been this year.<\/p>\n

So, I have to find a run that matches my thoughts and roll with it. Unfortunately, that run was one of the off runs of the EURO that only goes out to 144 hours. This solution brings showers and storms in here Wednesday with that low spiraling through with more rain into Thursday…<\/p>\n

Seasonable air will come in under and behind this system for the second half of the week into next weekend.<\/p>\n

I have zero changes to my ideas for what happens during the second half of the month into early December. Blocking shows up across the Arctic and across Canada, allowing for a deepening trough to settle in underneath.<\/p>\n

The EURO Weeklies haven’t budged on this idea, and they are even a little more emphatic with this setup all the way into the middle of December…<\/p>\n
