A hearty hello to one and all. Our blast of January is pushing into the bluegrass state and I wanted to go ahead and get a tracking post up. I will keep this going into Tuesday and then update things later in the day.<\/p>\n

Arctic cold and snow will drop into the region overnight into early Tuesday. This band of snow will be a fast mover, but should be able to put down light accumulations for many. A coating to one inch will be possible across the region… especially on grassy and elevated surfaces. The timing on this mess means the morning commute could get a little tricky\u00a0 for some.<\/p>\n

That’s why a Winter Weather Advisory is out for central and eastern Kentucky…<\/p>\n

Keep an eye on a band of snow showers and flurries trying to dive in here from the Great Lakes by the afternoon hours.<\/p>\n

Temps today will be frigid with low and middle 30s for highs. Wind gusts of 20-30mph will make it feel like its in the teens at times. Brr!
