Good evening gang. Will tonight be the night we pull the trigger on Winter Storm Threat Mode? I want to get a good look at what the new computer models are suggesting before making that call. The real question is… who, among our blog regulars, would you nominate to line up like the people in the pic as our representatives to pull the trigger?

This should be interesting!

As far as the actual weather goes… the operation GFS with the 18z run went even farther east but looks to have some issues. The GFS Ensembles, however, look about as steady as a model can look…


I will have a full update tonight and may tweet some thoughts one each model that rolls in. Until then… let me hear who you think should be on the front line in pulling the trigger. Keep it nice as the blog police will be watching.
