We are facing a very cold period as we head into Thanksgiving week, but will it include some snow? I think there is a good possibility of getting some of the white stuff before turkey day. The question is&#8230; how much?<\/p>\n<p>The forecast models are slowly coming around on a potent storm rolling from the deep south and up the east coast. The European Model continues to look like it has the best handle&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/11\/Euro10.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-8018\" alt=\"Euro\" src=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/11\/Euro10.png\" width=\"416\" height=\"1606\" srcset=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/11\/Euro10.png 416w, https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/11\/Euro10-265x1024.png 265w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 416px) 100vw, 416px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>That&#8217;s a pretty crazy setup to see at this time of the year and is one that can put down some snow for a lot of people. The European Model says this includes the bluegrass state&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/11\/Euro-Snow2.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-8019\" alt=\"Euro Snow\" src=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/11\/Euro-Snow2.png\" width=\"640\" height=\"528\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The Canadian Model isn&#8217;t as wrapped up with the storm, but does manage to sneak some of the white stuff into Kentucky&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/11\/Canadian3.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-8020\" alt=\"Canadian\" src=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/11\/Canadian3.png\" width=\"732\" height=\"472\" srcset=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/11\/Canadian3.png 732w, https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/11\/Canadian3-300x193.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 732px) 100vw, 732px\" \/><\/a>Whether we get a mix of rain and snow, a touch of light snow, or something a little more&#8230; the cold will reign supreme. Highs in the 30s and lows in the 20s will be common early next week.
