Good evening, gang. The next system diving in here later tonight and Tuesday is showing up a little better on some of the late day models. Does this mean a little better shot at some snow for some? Maybe.<\/p>\n

The main part of this system will pass to our north and northeast. But, the models do have a nice little upper level system passing on top of us tomorrow afternoon. I’ve highlighted this on the GFS…<\/p>\n

You often see a decent amount of lift along and north of the track of something like that. That in itself could provide a streak of precipitation. The GFS is even trying to put down some light snow along the track of that thing…<\/p>\n

The latest run of the RPM is picking up on that and is a little more widespread with the light snow potential…<\/p>\n

\"RPM\"<\/a>That will be something to really keep a close eye on. If that disturbance is as strong as depicted, a light snowfall would be possible for areas along and north of its track.<\/p>\n

That’s also a heck of a temp fall coming behind it and the models are likely underplaying that quick shot of cold into Wednesday.<\/p>\n

I still have a TON of questions about the weekend setup. I will try to get a better handle on that with the overnight update.<\/p>\n
