Good Tuesday from the frozen tundra of Minneapolis. There’s plenty of snow to go around here with temps well below zero. My kinda city! The good news is… folks in the bluegrass state are getting a taste of it today. We have snow, gusty winds and frigid temps overwhelming the pattern.<\/p>\n

Here’s a breakdown of how things look…<\/p>\n

– Light snow moves in early today and will carry us into the afternoon. We will see bands of heavier snow that will set up across the eastern half of the state.<\/p>\n

– Accumulations today will range from 1\u2033-4\u2033 for many. Locally higher amounts will be possible across the eastern half of the state. I don’t have the capabilities of making a snow map right now.<\/p>\n

– This snow will have a high impact on travel throughout the day.<\/p>\n

– Winds today will reach 30-35mph at times and this will blow come of the snow around.<\/p>\n

– Temps will start in the low to mid 20s and fall toward 10 degrees by early this evening.<\/p>\n

– Wednesday morning will see temps in the low to middle single digits and only recover to the teens for highs.<\/p>\n

– Additional rounds of light snow and bitterly cold temps will be with us this later the week into the weekend and early next week.<\/p>\n
