Our winter storm continues to surge in from the southwest and will bring nasty weather to the areas I&#8217;ve outlined over the past few days. Significant ice is likely across much of northern Kentucky and that can lead to some serious issues.<\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s a look at the latest warnings and advisories&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/Warnings1.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-9101\" alt=\"Warnings\" src=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/Warnings1.png\" width=\"640\" height=\"267\" srcset=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/Warnings1.png 640w, https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/Warnings1-300x125.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The snow pack\u00a0will\u00a0continue to play a major role in keeping temps down. Throw in a northeasterly wind and you have the makings of a\u00a0ice storm\u00a0in the north. The southern side of the wintry mess will be dealing\u00a0more with a mix with some plain old rain&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/Special2.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-9102\" alt=\"Special\" src=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/Special2.png\" width=\"568\" height=\"274\" srcset=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/Special2.png 568w, https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/Special2-300x144.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 568px) 100vw, 568px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I will also be watching the heavy rain threat across southeastern parts of the state. That could lead to high water issues.<\/p>\n<p>The only thing left to do is watch to see how things play out.
