Life is full of ups and downs and so is the world of weather. That&#8217;s especially true for the weather of the next week and change. Winter is holding on as the change to spring slowly shows up across the bluegrass state.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking of winter, some areas may be getting a touch of it early today with some light rain and light snow. This fast-moving system will throw some of this action across the southern half of the state to start the day. Here&#8217;s regional radar to see what&#8217;s out there&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.accuweather.com\/radar-large.asp?partner=netweather&amp;traveler=0&amp;site=KY_&amp;type=SIR&amp;anim=1&amp;level=state&amp;large=1#\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/sirocco.accuweather.com\/nx_mosaic_640x480_public\/sir\/inmaSIRKY_.gif\" usemap=\"#largemap\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Skies will clear this afternoon as the sun returns. Temps will hit the 40s for highs on a day where 60 is about the norm. Monday looks similar with highs in the low 40s and lows in the 20s with some increase in clouds.<\/p>\n<p>Those clouds are ahead of a bigger push of winter that shows up on Tuesday. A band of light snow will be possible as a system dives in from the northwest and a bigger storm develops well to our southeast&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/Canadian5.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-9703\" alt=\"Canadian\" src=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/Canadian5.png\" width=\"346\" height=\"290\" srcset=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/Canadian5.png 346w, https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/Canadian5-300x251.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 346px) 100vw, 346px\" \/><\/a>\u00a0That could bring a touch of accumulation to a few spots, but doesn&#8217;t look like a big deal. Highs will be in the 30s\u00a0for Tuesday and Wednesday with lows hitting the teens to start Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>Milder air will swing in for Thursday as temps make a run at 60.
