Good Tuesday to one and all. If you are a fan of warm fall days, we have a forecast that is going to have you smiling from ear to ear over the next week or so. A true case of Indian Summer is about to break out across the state and across much of the eastern half of the country.
Your breakdown of the pattern is short and sweet…
– Skies will be sunny through the rest of the week into the weekend. Highs will generally run in the 70s with lows in the high 40s and low 50s. Any one day could see temps flirt with 80.
Yep… that’s pretty much it for the next week. ![]()
This is a heck of a ridge of high pressure showing up on the European Model…
The model is showing some kind of tropical system trying to form near Florida and it does have support from other models. That will be a interesting weather wrinkle to watch out for as we head into next week.
Back to today and your temp tracker…

Since the weather is going to be so nice this week. I figure it’s a good time to talk about the winter ahead and we will be doing just that. Starting tomorrow, I will be posting some winter thoughts and forecasts from other sources across the country.
To help get your winter grove on. Check out this weekend pic from Snowshoe, WV…
Yep… I’m just about ready to see some of that around here!
Have a great Tuesday and take care.

Love the snow part, but can do without sub-zero temps.
I greatly enjoy this stretch of warm sunny dry weather!
Recent snow in WV and now big snow forecast for the Sierra Nevada is getting me pumped for an active upcoming season.
My winter weather forecast will be coming out in early November.
