Good Sunday to one and all and welcome to more of the same… pleasant and boring weather. While I am not complaining about the awesome conditions we have out there… it does make it hard to put together a daily weather blog. I feel like a comic out there on stage that is telling jokes and hearing crickets!
Since all is calm and quiet… let’s break it down with some simple weather headlines.
– Sunshine and temps well into the 70s today… boring.
– The weak little front trying to dip in here for Monday is looking even weaker. Highs back in the 70s with the smallest chance for a thunderstorm.
– Once into Tuesday and Wednesday… temps will begin to surge back toward the 80s once again with more in the way of sun.
– Readings will remain in the 80s through Thursday and Friday.
– The pattern will try to flip a bit toward one that can produce some showers or thunderstorms by the end of the week into next weekend.
Until then…. zzzz ZZZZ zzzz zzzz
Have a great Sunday and take care.
Chris
I know you rarely respond to questions on the blog; I was watching Food Revolution on ABC and it’s in HUNTINGTON! I thought the FLASH FOOD MOB at Marshall University was COOL! I also saw where Jamie Oliver has spots on local news stations there in Huntington. I wondered if it was your station. It didn’t really say. Sorry to talk about NON weather on a weather blog but there’s nothing to talk about in the weather… 🙂
Well it sounds like a very nice week that is coming. Have a question about it….what does Friday look like? Am making a trip to Lexington to an outdoor event, and kind of wanted to know how to dress….
Boring or not, you keep wtiring, and we’ll keep reading! Have a GREAT Sunday!
Hey Chris. Keep the faith. Niice weather is a blessing. We do need some rain. Forest fires are beginning to flair back up.
I can not stress how badly Central Kentucky needs rain. If this pattern doesn’t change soon we’ll be talking about a drought in Lexington as early as May. Going to be a very long summer.
Not much to talk about, other than what should be a compelling finish to the Masters this afternoon. So to pass the time, let’s hear some stories. We’ve done this before with snowstorms and April 3, 1974. So, let’s hear from those of you who have had experiences with hurricanes???
I’d like to see a little rain also but not as much as last summer. Just enough to kill the drought.
I have wanted to publicate something like tip on my website and this gave me excellent idea. Thank You!
