Good Saturday and welcome to the weekend. The weather pattern taking shape continues to be one that has a rather sleepy look to it with not a whole lot of action going on. Quiet weather times also means quiet blog times… but I am still going at it for you guys.

The big news of today is the cold start. Temps will range from the high 20s to low 30s in most areas to start out our Saturday and this means some frost and freeze issues. You can check out the morning lows from across the state here…

Sunny skies today will boost temps well into the 60s. The best is yet to come as Sunday will be even better with temps in the 70s with more sunshine.

Monday may see temps come down a few degrees as a weak front tries to slip in from the “backdoor” This simply means the front comes in from a not so common direction… the northeast. This may have a couple of showers of thunderstorms with it and would only knock the temps down a bit if it does slip in here.

Warmer air will then surge back in here by later Tuesday through the rest of the week with 80s waiting in the wings.

If you are looking for a more active weather pattern… this may very well be shaping up for the middle and end of April. We need something to keep us from going to sleep.

Have a great Saturday and take care.
