As you can see, most of the country will be dealing with this arctic blast. I continue to watch the flow to see if we can get a winter system rolling underneath that sprawling arctic air mass. Several of the models have been hinting at something by the end of next week…
We will have to wait and see about that. The cold blast engulfing the country is a given, but snow chances are not. I said last weekend that I thought we would have a couple shots of snow before Thanksgiving, and I still think the same way. As always… say it with me… we shall see! 🙂
Updates come your way later today. Enjoy the day and take care.

I know people on here are not fans of Accuweather, but found it interesting they are saying ICE STORM next Sat night – 11/15 and Sunday morning …………………..
let’s pray they are dead wrong on this one !!!
IF an ice storm were to happen it would not have as much settled cold surface ground temps to sustain it for too long. Not a good sign though as far as for later in the season. Harbinger perhaps?
If CB even thought there was a chance he would bring it up.
True but we might have 4-5 days of freezing to below freezing temps. The damage happens on the tree limbs though, I guess we need not get in front of ourselves, lets see how the models play this one out. It is nice to be back in the Winter weather talk!
I’m just thrilled to see the cold temperatures! I’ll be thankful if we have a cold, cold winter, and any snow that we get on top of the cold temperatures is just icing on the cake.
I hate unseasonably hot weather. Thanks for all that you do to keep us “weather weenies” informed, Chris!
I like weather, period. Has always fascinated me. I must confess that I am a snow lover, but I enjoy warm and hot weather too. Guess that makes me a real weather weenie!
