Good Saturday everyone… I hope your weekend is getting started off on a good note. Parts of the state are starting the weekend out with… drum roll please… more snow! I have picked up a fresh 2″-4″ in my part of the world as of this writing from a hefty snow band that continues to work westward across the region.

Areas that get under this snow band will pick up a general 1″-3″ of snow. Areas in the northeast that already have a few inches on the ground can get totals closer to 5 inches out of this. The snows will taper off some today and you can track it all right here…

Another round of snows will likely develop overnight into early Sunday and this can drop another inch or two in some spots.

Here are a few weather cams for you to check out…

We have the next storm to track coming early next week. Will it come far enough north to bring another round of snows to the region? We will tackle that question with the next update. Take care.
