Good Sunday to one and all and thanks for dropping by the blog. Our wet weather maker is rolling across the region today bringing numerous showers to us. These will continue into early afternoon before slowing ending from west to east. Any way you slice it… today is going to be a pretty ugly day.

That is what is going on with the short term.. the longer term looks cold and we are seeing a trend toward something brewing for the end of next week into the weekend that needs to be watched. In the short term… you can just watch the radar..

Temps today will warm into the low to mid 40s as the showers roll on. The rest of the forecast looks like this…

1. Monday looks like a pretty good day with temps actually warming toward 50 under partly sunny skies.

2. Tuesday will see a decent cold front working in. This will bring a few showers and falling temps. Some flurries will be possible behind the front.

3. Wednesday looks cold.

4. I mentioned to be on clipper lookout for the end of next week into next weekend. The models are now showing a pretty robust clipper diving in here that could develop into a pretty big storm across the eastern part of the country. This has potential!

5. That same clipper will usher in  the coldest temps of the winter to date and will bring us a pattern that will try to lock in. This would give us a good shot at some snow for Christmas toward New Year’s!

I will give you guys more thoughts later today. Have a great Sunday and take care.
