Snow Number One In Pics!

Good Satturday evening gang. Thanks for all the hard work you guys did today in reporting the snow totals and road conditions from where you live. The blog is like a family and I appreciate each and every one of you!

Today’s snow was everything the blog thought it would be and even overachieved in a few spots. The snowfall map we put out was a pretty darn good one to be honest and it’s a good start to the winter for us! I made a post about a week ago about Old Man Winter owning the folks who were downplaying any cold and snow this month. Today was a perfect example and the NWS offices from Jackson and Charleston, WV were taken to the woodshed! I can talk and talk and talk about them but nothing ever changes!!

Well done Chris. Shaped up to be a good day for you. 2+ inches of snow in Ashland, a nailed forecast and the Cats took out the Tar Heels. 🙂

Looks to be a cold night ahead. Might get down to 15 up here in Cincinnati area tonight.

its 21 here too. skies are clear and nice, i’d bet a low of 18 or 19 is fairly likely.

moisture coming in from the west, heavy moisture at that and meanwhile the 32 line straggles right through the middle of ky with lexington right on the line, is this run not CLASSIC!

the new gfs has the 32 line way down in the south similar to the cmc meaning all snow for everyone. The warmest model, the euro has a rain/snow mix south and snow north for friday night.
