Good Thursday evening gang and thanks for making the blog your weather source! Your friendly weather dude is hard at work right now (my nose is growing as I type that) but I thought I would drop in for a quick few words.

The models have been going back and forth in exact track for the Saturday system. It continues to look like a glancing blow of snow for the eastern half of the state. The last two runs of the NAM conitnue to bring a light snowfall into southeastern Kentucky. The Morning run was farther west and snowier…

Tomorrow’s runs will decide if this is only a light snowfall or something a little more for eastern parts of the state.

You want to see something that will make you mad? Check out this snowfall map…

Yes… that is snow for Houston, Texas and parts of Louisiana! Winter Storm Watches are out down there for what would be Houston’s earliest ever recorded snowfall. The old record was set way back on December 10, 2008.

In other news… a big ticket storm is on the menu for next week and this may impact my flight to see the Cats play in New York City next week. More on that storm with the next update tonight.

Just to tease you even more. Here is an oldie but a goodie…

Take care
