Good evening, folks. Arctic air arrives late tonight into Wednesday morning and may produce a quick hitting band of snow showers and squalls. That could cause some issues for the morning commute.
The NAM and Hi Res NAM are picking up on this action pretty well…
That wouldn’t be a lot of snow by any means, but the timing could cause some travel woes.
The air coming in behind that is brutal and I have no changes on the temps coming our way. It’s a brutal cold shot that lasts into Thursday with another coming late Friday and early Saturday.
Enjoy the rest of your evening and take care.
I almost have to laugh when I see those maps because the southern counties are never included. lol Oh well…I love reading the blog and I sure do dread the brutal cold!!
Ummm yes they are
Would not worry to much just flurries and some small snow showers.
Fayette Co. had 27 accidents in a single work day span last week during a day of warm and sprinkles. This is why CB mentions this because the average driving skill on display up there is atrocious.
Especially festive flakes, since you get the snow globe effect 😉 🙂
this in morn/late.late tonite looking more and more robust. can see schools closing in few areas.
Remember, this isn’t an official forecast of snow, so no complaining if you don’t see any. Be fair and wait for a time when there’s a comparison to be made between Final Call and what you get.
Festive flakes!
Radar is actually starting to look pretty good.
Lots of wasted cold air this week, a few flurries maybe?
JUst think about a couple inches of moisture with this cold spell, dream land I know!
