Good Monday morning everyone. Your friendly weather dude has not been so friendly for the past few days as I have caught some kind of bug that has pretty much taken me out of commission. You know I am down for the count when I give away my UK football tickets and cant play in a charity basketball game with some former UK players. ![]()
Such is life and as long as I don’t grow a snout and piggy tail… I will be fine! ![]()
Let’s get to what headlines I can muster for you guys…
1. The weekend turned out pretty much as expected. Sunday was a very nice start to November. Even with the nice start… the temp was about 7 below normal.
2. Get used to the below normal temps as we have them coming your way all week long.
3. Today will be the warmest as highs hit the upper 50s under partly sunny skies. Winds will pick up ahead of a weak front that moves through here early Tuesday.
4. The Tuesday front should only be able so kick off a stray shower or two and will knock highs back down into the upper 40s to low 50s.
5. The flow aloft from the northwest will have a few more weak impulses moving through here from Wednesday through Friday. This will keep the chance for some light showers with us during that time. It will not rain the entire time by any means and where it does… it won’t rain much.
6. Highs will come way down during this same time period. Wednesday will be upper 40s to low 50s then fall into the mid and upper 40s for Thursday and Friday. This should be a fairly blustery time, as well.
7. The first week of November is likely to average well below normal. But, the second week will turn warmer with a few days of Indian Summer on the menu.
That is all I can give you guys right now… the Nyquil is kicking in.
I will have another update later this afternoon. I will have some October stats for you and take a look to see if they can tell us anything about November and the winter to come! Yes… winter talk coming later today!!!!! ![]()
Have a good one my friends and take care.

Ahttp://www…Chris….sorry that you are feeling bad. I hope you are feeling more like your old self real soon! Nyquil can work wonders!
Sounds like a quieter weather week, at least, so you shouldn’t have too much to track as far as storms go, so you can get rested up and feeling like yourself again!
Looking forward to what your thoughts are on the upcoming winter! but, before you make those thoughts known, make sure that it is YOU talking, and NOT the Nyquil! 😉
Get well Chris! Lots of OJ and soup is what the doctor orders.
Get well Chris.
get well soon
as long as your not sick when an artic boundary is stalled across i-64 and a low pressure is moving north east from the gulf then i am ok with you being sick lol JK JK CB!!! get well soon we need you for winter!!
I’m surprised LMK has no POP at all for Wednesday. I think Wednesday/Thursday are going to be gloomy, damp, depressing weather days.
NAM definitely showing a decent shower chance.
Chris….here’s hoping that you’re feeling better today?! 🙂 I don’t know what sort of ‘bug’ you have, but for almost a month and a half now, I’ve had off & on body aches, headaches, runny nose, cough, and chest congestion that makes me sound in need of an “Iron Lung”- after a cpl. Dr. visits and self-treatment w/o any visible effects, it occurred to me…(yes, the light does come on sometimes!!lol) It was apparantly allergies. I had my doc refill my script of Allegra and have been consistantly better since last Wed.Don’t know if you suffer w/them or not, but there’s always that chance,ya know, living in the OV! (Don’t get the OTC stuff…it’s a ripoff…get the REAL stuff!)
