Good Tuesday everyone! The weather over the next several days is about as nice as it can get for this time of year and is especially nice since we are heading toward the Memorial Day Weekend.
Given that the weather is going to be soooo nice… I got nothing for you folks!
Ok… maybe a few headlines.
1. Frosty this morning with temps in the 30s. Coldest mid May shot of air since 2002 at the same time.
2. Highs today will hit the 70s under sunny skies.
3. The 80s will be here starting Wednesday into the coming weekend. Humidity levels will increase as well!!
4. Watching what happens in the Gulf of Mexico over the next few days as something tropical may try to fire up. Some of the models are jumping on this pretty good right now. We will watch the progress of what happens there as it may very well impact our weather by the end of the holiday weekend into early next week.
That’s about it for the weather. I will share something kinda cool with you though. I am a big time Garth Brooks fan and have been for a long, long time. I have interviewed him and been to 8 of his concerts. I am also a Nickelback fan as well and I came across this video from a recent concert of theirs…
Rockin’ some Friends In Low Places!!!
Nowhere good as the original… but that’s still pretty cool.
Have a great day and take care.
Cooler at my house today than this time yesterday
Colder at my house this morning too…dropped to 39°F
Fairly wide-spread frost at my house in Jessamine Co. this morning w/ temps down into the mid 30’s. Can’t remember ever having to scrape my car windows this late into the season before !
AHhhhhh, Chris. what else can you say about the weather except that…ahhhhhh! what a beautiful morning it is! And yesterday was just absolutely great! I took pictures of the daughter and her fiance down on burnside Island for their wedding announcement. The sun, the sky and the scenery made for a perfect backdrop! They turned out very good!
I hope Florida can hang on to the rain for a few days…..they really need it. I talked to my sister, who lives in central Florida, and she was telling me that the fires have started up again, because it is so dry. So, I am sure they will appreciate any rain they can get. And hopefully, it will be soaking rain, instead of thunderstorms, with their associated lightning.
Well, have a GREAT day, everyone! thanks for the update, Chris! Now, go out and enjoy!
commented a little bit ago, but, went to moderation heaven……We hit 39 for a low this morning. But the sun is out, and it is a simply BEAUTIFUL morning!
I hope that Florida keeps the rain for a few days, without storms. they REALLY need it, as the fires are starting to flare up again….
Everyone have a GREAT day! And thanks for the update, Chris!
Here’s an even better nickelback video! I’m moving to Portugal!!

Hi, everybody!:)
Sorry I’ve not been posting lately-comp prob’s, a sick wee one, and a gripey biggin’ w/ a painful knee cyst…woe is me!:(
It’s been down-right CHILLY the past few days here in Bardstown?! I mean, dang!- I had my windows opened @ nite and drug out my little flimsy (lol-don’t take that the wrong way, now!)nighshirts, only to have to replace them with my flannel jammy pants and my fave hoodie…and it’s a beautiful day, but still have to go outside on the deck because it’s warmer out than it is IN!?
Hope all of you are doing OK and glad to hear that Tim is on the mend. Been there w/ the other half on that “back” thing (not surgery, because we talked the doc out of it…)but it was bad enough . He got over that, now there’s that pesky knee cyst…whaddya DO??! ha-ha!
Everybody enjoy this beautiful spring/summery Wx coming our way the next several days!:)
