Good evening, everyone. March is off and running on a wild note. Thunderstorms caused some wind damage earlier today as temps soared to near 70 in a few areas. The cold is now surging in and many areas drop below freezing by midnight with a few snowflakes flying.

This is part of a very active weather pattern that continues to throw systems our way in the coming days. The next one arrives Thursday with some cold rain and a touch of snow…

A huge warm up is on the way early next week as temperatures rise into the 70s. This much above normal pattern may also turn very stormy around here. The setup indicates some active rounds of thunderstorms in our part of the world. To illustrate that, look no further than the rain totals over the next 10 days.
