Good afternoon, gang. Another ugly system is on the way late tonight through Thursday. This will bring cold rain and some snow to much of our region. As we inch closer to this system impacting our weather, the models have a little more snow on the front end, and on the back end.

Most show, at least, some snow falling across central and eastern Kentucky. Keep in mind that “snowfall” isn’t “snow depth”…

Again, that’s what each model thinks will “fall”. Temps through this system will be marginal for any snow to develop, but it’s worth watching.

One more weak system moves through this weekend, and then spring really kicks in for next week. I keep beating the drum about very warm weather and the potential for rounds of showers and big thunderstorms. The rain forecast from the GFS shows the storm potential very well…

It’s going to get a little bumpy!

Another update comes your way this evening. Make it a good one and take care.
