Good Friday, folks. We’re putting the wraps on one amazing week of spring weather across the bluegrass state. That doesn’t look like it’s going away over the next few days, and that means more of the same for the weekend. That said, chilly changes are showing up in the medium range. Sigh.
Highs today will generally run from 60-65 in many areas with a mix of sun and clouds. A leftover morning shower is possible across the south and east.
Warmer air surges back in here on Saturday and may be accompanied by scattered showers and storms. Check out the afternoon highs…
A better chance for showers and storms will be around Saturday night into Sunday, and then again on Monday. The NAM rainfall totals through Monday morning…
The spring train looks to be running out of steam as we head into the middle of next week. A much colder pattern looks to return, with some of the models having a rather wintry look…
If this 2 week GFS snowfall map is even remotely correct, I may cry…
Your Friday weather trackers…
Enjoy the day and take care.
LOL–the GFS probably want be!
Just as I was saying a few days ago, the 22nd caught my attention about the possibility of winter returning 🙁 I most certainly hope not
The GFS will be wrong.
Yes, the GFS does not hold much stock with me nowadays.
Warm air should easily win the fight.
Any further cold snaps won’t last more than a few days at most.
RRRR… my spring break starts the 19th. doubt very seriously I’ll be sledding, but it does look like I’ll be having to dress warm if I’m gonna try to get some fishing in.
Not sure why we are even considering a look at the GFS as it has been complete garbage the entire winter season … just saying….
I’ve seen it snow in March and April before. I hope that isn’t the case this year. The GFS model is not very reliable.
