Good Monday, everyone. Our ridiculously early spring pattern rolls on for a few more days. That’s the good part of the forecast. The bad part comes later this week into the coming weekend. That’s when the pattern flips to a much colder one.

We have a potent little low spinning across the region today. Bands of gusty showers and thunderstorms will be zipping through here, and a few of them could be strong. That’s something we will have to keep a close eye on, and you can do just that with your tracking toys…

Tuesday looks very warm and windy with temperatures hitting the mid and upper 70s for some. Another cold front moves in Tuesday night with a broken line of showers and thunderstorms. The potential is there for some strong or severe storms during the evening hours. Notice how the NAM takes the best instabilities just to our northwest…
