Good Wednesday to one and all. It’s another very gusty weather day taking shape across the region. Of course, it’s March and gusty winds are rather common this time of year. It’s also a month that can feature some fickle weather, and that is also showing up in the days ahead.
Let’s focus on the good before we get to the bad. The good is temps pushing 70 degrees today with a mix of sun and clouds. Wind gusts of 35mph will be possible.
A strong cold front plows into the region on Thursday and should bring a nice line of showers and thunderstorms…
Much colder air comes in behind that front with the possibility of some sprinkles or snowflakes by Friday morning…
The possibility of some clouds linger into Friday afternoon is something we will have to watch for. If that happens, temps will stay in the 40s. That’s shown well by the NAM…
Better weather moves in for Saturday with readings rebounding into the 60s. That sets the stage for another system to blow through here late Easter Sunday. The models have a very ugly look to them…
The long range look for early April continues to have a cold look. Check out the average temperature departure for the first 5 days of the month…
And that’s in Celsius. 🙁
Enjoy your Wednesday and take care.
I ve not heard one clap of thunder since last September here in SE Ky. lol……I think the weather pattern is a flat sucky one…..
Thursday may bring at least isolated severe wx for our area. Looks like destructive straight-line winds would be the threat with the highest chances, but can’t rule out some damaging hail along with a twister or two. There remains about a day and a half for the models to fine tune things.
Severe Weather Week in Indiana continues:

Also in Ohio. The state wide tornado drill is coming up at 9:50AM. I’ll probably have to go stand in a stair well for a couple minutes. 🙁
So for spring break we go to Alaska?
