Good Thursday, everyone. It’s been a very cold start to the month of April, and the coldest is yet to come. Temperatures continue to decline through Saturday with additional hard freezes a good bet. Oh yeah, a few snowflakes may dance about the air in some areas.

Temps today will struggle to get out of the 40s across central and eastern Kentucky with scattered showers. Winds will be very gusty and that will make it feel even colder.

Another system arrives with scattered showers and chillier air for Friday. Highs will range from the low to middle 40s for many. The next system diving in Friday night into early Saturday will have the best chance for producing some snowflakes…

EuroThe air behind this system is crazy cold for this time of year…

Temps may start the day in the upper 20s and end with upper 30s to low 40s. That sets the stage for even colder temps by Sunday morning. Green thumbs have had weeks of notice on this… at least from this weather source. 😉

Milder air moves in late Sunday into Monday as we get ready for another storm system with more showers and storms…

GFSAnd the colder air that follows that up…

Euro 3Sigh.

Make it a good day and take care.
