Good Tuesday, everyone. It’s a colder day across the bluegrass state, but nothing compared to what we had last week. Overall, this pattern is about to flip toward a milder one as spring finally looks to make a return visit to the region.

High temps will generally be in the 50s today as skies slowly clear. Winds will be a little gusty, but nothing too bad.

Wednesday will start with upper 20s to low 30s in many areas and finish with 60 in the east and mid 60s in the west. This is the beginning of a much milder pattern, but we do have a couple of systems to watch for.

The first is the southeastern system that tries to throw a shower our two our way by Thursday…

That system then zips by to our southeast by the weekend as temps take off. Readings in the 70s look good from Friday through early next week as temps run above normal…

Another system will try to throw some showers and storms our way from late Monday through Tuesday and Wednesday…

Euro 2

If that system is slower to arrive, temps can hit 80 degrees early in the week. Once that does move through, it may knock the temps down some, but the milder pattern looks to hang tough…

Enjoy your Tuesday and take care.
