Good Wednesday, folks. After a frosty start to the day, things are about to take a turn toward the better in the coming days. It looks like we have a gorgeous stretch of spring weather on tap for much of the region. All I can say about that is… BRING IT ON!
Highs today will top out in the 60-65 degree range for much of the state with a mostly sunny sky.
There is still the chance for a shower or two in the west and south on Thursday, but most of the region looks dry. Temps will respond into the mid and upper 60s with a 70 possible for some.
From there, it’s game on toward the weekend and temps surging deep into the 70s. Skies look to stay dry with this warm pattern taking shape…
That setup could send temps close to 80 degrees by Sunday and Monday. The GFS is sniffing around the 80 degree mark…
The upper level low parking itself across the western part of the country should open up and roll our way by the middle of next week.
That could bring the threat for some showers and thunderstorms…
Make it a great day and take care.
Looks like my cold weather suffering is finally coming to a close for now!
Oh great, when the temp hits 80 is when Hamlin drives the ambulance without pants. Nothing like having another heart attack while you’re having a heart attack!
As long as the dew point stays reasonable, I’m all for this warm up.
I know the cold temps have made it very difficult for people attending baseball games to nap through most of it, so this is welcome relief to many.
