Good Friday, folks. It’s been rather ugly out there for the past few days, but things are about to take a turn for the better. The timing on this will give us a second straight weekend with a whole lot of spring awesomeness!
Today starts ugly in the central and east with clouds and a few snowflakes flying…
Skies quickly clear from west to east by the afternoon, leaving us with some sun and improving temps. Highs generally reach the 50s for many.
The weekend will see plenty of sunshine with highs in the 60s for Sunday and the mid and upper 70s by Sunday.
This warm weather hangs through next week. Check out the 5 day temp departures for next week…
The next threat for showers and storms will come Monday night into Tuesday. A few could be strong…
Looking toward the following week, it’s a warm signal that continues to show up…
The severe weather pattern looks to start to ramp back up late next week into the following week. You can clearly see that on the GFS Ensembles rainfall outlook for the next few weeks…
It looks active from the plains into the Ohio Valley.
Have a great Friday and take care.
With the low pressure trough out to our west and a ridge in the mid west extending into the east, our weather will be very pleasant through next week. Some energy will enter on late Tuesday with some April showers mostly in western Kentucky. Late, next week the dominate pattern may return, as Chris mentioned in this morning’s blog. This will bring back that severe threat of more storms, making every home owner wondering if their home and property will be destroyed. I personally, have had enough of this type of weather. Enjoy the pleasant weather while we have it.
