Good Tuesday to one and all. We have some nice weather that will be blowing into town over the next few days behind a front that is blowing through the region today. Then it’s all eyes on the big holiday weekend that is just around the corner.
Temps today will be on the warm side again with readings topping out in the 80-85 degree range for many. Follow the temps here…
Current Temps
The cold front is slowily working across the region today and will touch off more scattered showers and thunderstorms. The best threat for boomers will be across the south, where heavy rains will be possible with the storms that go up.
Much better weather is in store for the next few days as we freshen up the air. Highs will generally run in the low 80s for many with lower humidity levels and sunny skies. You can see this nice little dip in the jet stream here on the European Model…
That is some wicked heat building across the plains and it is going to make a big run at us into the start of the upcoming Independence Day weekend. Unlike this last time… I expect the hot air to finally move in for a few days. Highs from Friday through Sunday can top out at 90 or better.
We will not get in on the exact same blast of heat the folks in the plains will see as the heat ridge decreases some as it moves eastward. Plus… we only get in on the cusp of the heat and that shows up well on the European…
There should be another cold front that arrives on the scene later Sunday into the 4th of July. This may touch off some showers and thunderstorms during this time and bring in some cooler temps for the middle and end of next week.
Have a great Tuesday and take care.

Thanks, Chris. I also have to say thanks for the near perfect weather we had on Saturday for our daughter’s wedding. I don’t think we could have ordered up a more perfect day! (I know YOU didn’t conjer up the weather, but the forecast was a sweet one! 😉 )
As for the rain, well, we can use a little bit here, although we have had some. cloudy here now, and 79 degrees. Looks like it could rain at any time. Anyway, have a GREAT day, all.
