Good Tuesday my friends and thanks for dropping by the center. We are coming off one of the best weather days we have had in a long, long time and hoping to keep the ball rolling into today. The pleasant temps will stick around… but some showers and storms may crash the party for some.

Temps today will likely stay in the 70s again for much of central and eastern Kentucky. Areas of the west will see some low 80s unless showers and storms keep temps in check. Follow along here…

We continue to be positioned in between a heck of a cool show across the northeast and the blazing heat ridge across the plains and southeast. This puts us in an area with an increasing threat for showers and storms to move in from northwest to southeast…

Storms over the next few days can be on the strong or severe side of things and torrential rains will be a concern. Overall… the next several days should bring a VERY nice drink of water to the entire region with a general 1″-3″ being possible into the start of the upcoming weekend.
